SNL 50, The Traitors, and Pee-wee As Himself Top Creative Arts Emmy Winners on Night 2

Highlights from the Creative Arts Emmys

The Creative Arts Emmys, held on Night 2, celebrated a wide array of achievements across various categories in television production. The event recognized outstanding work in unstructured and structured reality programming, with Love on the Spectrum and Queer Eye taking home awards. Additionally, Pee-wee As Himself won for Outstanding Documentary, and Alan Cumming was honored as Best Host for The Traitors.

Barack Obama, who did not attend the ceremony, received an Emmy for narrating Our Oceans. Meanwhile, the SNL 50 special earned multiple awards in categories such as production design, sound mixing, makeup, and writing. Jeopardy! won for Outstanding Game Show, while Jimmy Kimmel triumphed for hosting Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

A total of 47 awards were presented across various categories including production design, sound mixing, choreography, and writing. Notable moments included Marlee Matlin and Nyle DiMarco presenting two Emmys with the help of sign language interpreters, and Love on the Spectrum stars Tanner Smith and Connor Tomlinson handing out several trophies.

Schedule and Availability

Although the Creative Arts Emmys will not air live, they are scheduled to be broadcast on FXX on Saturday, September 13 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, the night before the Primetime Emmys. The event will also be available to stream on Hulu until October 7.
