Boys Soccer Results

Ridgefield secured a 2-0 victory over Norwalk, with Ronan Hanley scoring both goals. Jake Marguiles and Martim Dias Pinto provided the assists.

New Canaan defeated Fairfield Warde 2-0. Tristan Bardales and Nick Grubelic each scored a goal, while Will Wunderlich recorded an assist. Ryan Campbell made four saves for Fairfield Warde, and Lucas Breed made ten saves for New Canaan.

Hopkins dominated Salisbury with an 8-0 win. Sean Studley, Tommy Pont Strong, Marco Dias, and Oliver Hudonogov-Foster each scored multiple goals. Michael Illuzzi and Max Jacobs made three saves each for Hopkins, while Owen Hellman made eight saves for Salisbury.

Torrington edged out Wilby 2-1. Matteo Scotto-Daniello and Santy Garcia scored for Torrington, while Thiago Ramon found the back of the net for Wilby. Aidan Senior and Javier Serrano assisted for Torrington, and neither team had an assist for Wilby. Brody Beckett made five saves for Torrington, and Jhon Alex made nine saves for Wilby.

Seymour defeated Woodland 4-2. Daniel Berezka scored twice, while Bedri Boraj and Matthew Alves each added a goal. Nathan Ferreira and Jhashawn McCarthy provided assists for Seymour. Ethan Borajikiewicz and Luke Borajikiewicz scored for Woodland, with Mason Menzies assisting one of the goals. Alex Porczynski and Nick Kyrystchenko made five and two saves respectively for Seymour, while Jacob Trumbley made fifteen saves for Woodland.

Ansonia won 4-1 against Crosby. Abdalla Hanaif scored three goals, and George Marini added one. Daniel Brejwo and Andrew Mancini provided assists for Ansonia. Zyre Dos Santos scored for Crosby.

St. Paul defeated Holy Cross 2-1. John Salgado and Matt Arnold scored for St. Paul, while Tyler Paniagua scored for Holy Cross. Drew Emmendorfer provided two assists for St. Paul, and there were no assists for Holy Cross. Michael Salgado made four saves for St. Paul, and Gio Velez made two saves for Holy Cross.

Wolcott defeated WCA 5-1. Tyson Brenes scored three goals, and Damien Georges added two. Tyson Brenes, JJ Brenes, Hunter Dill, and Damien Georges provided assists for Wolcott. Naugatuck beat Watertown 6-1. Ismael Mujica scored twice, and Ash Rajkumar, Enzo Medina, Antonio Guerreiro, and Lucas Santos each scored once. Jayse Danuszar, Lucas Santos, Antonio Guerreiro, and Ashwath Rajkumar provided assists for Naugatuck. Christian Kazia scored for Watertown, and there were no assists for the team. Gabriel Laskiewicz and Rocco Grella made one save each for Naugatuck, while Anthony Melaragno made four saves for Watertown.

Girls Soccer Results

Lyman Memorial defeated Killingly/Tourtellotte 3-2. Emily McKelvey scored all three goals for Lyman Memorial, and Cianna Brown provided an assist. Isabelle Nowosad made eight saves for Lyman Memorial, and McKenna Mulvey made eight saves for Killingly/Tourtellotte. McKelvey scored two second-half goals, including one in the 70th minute to break a 2-2 tie.

Woodland defeated Seymour 3-0. Tiana Franklin scored twice, and Skylar DeFrank added one goal. Megan Bernegger made five saves for Woodland, and Mia Cunningham made thirteen saves for Seymour.

Naugatuck defeated Torrington 2-0. Lily Scranton and Julia Cummings each scored a goal. Madeline Cheney made two saves for Naugatuck, and Ashley Pascual made thirteen saves for Torrington.

Holy Cross defeated St. Paul 7-1. Riley Fenn scored three goals, Mackenzie Pierce scored two, and Kylie Dennis and Mia Galiette each scored once. Kylie Dennis and Mackenzie Pierce provided two assists each, and Riley Fenn provided one assist. Gabby Rosado made eight saves for Holy Cross, and Stella Boucino made ten saves for St. Paul.

Oxford defeated Wolcott 2-0. Kyla DeCrescenzo and Ava Gendron each scored a goal. Addison Wheeler provided an assist for Oxford. Audrey Brough made two saves for Oxford, and Samantha Smith made ten saves for Wolcott.

Boys Golf Results

Fairfield Prep posted a score of 147, while New Canaan scored 151 at the Country Club of New Canaan (par 34). Robby Rosati led the way for Fairfield Prep with a 33, followed by Austin Mack with a 36, Luke Hoglund with a 39, Ravi Khanna with a 39, and Graham Geisler with a 40. For New Canaan, George Ives scored a 36, Jack Regan a 38, Liam Hibbert a 38, Henry King a 39, and Jack Ryan a 41.

Shepaug scored 196, and Housatonic scored 212 at the Canaan Country Club. Wyatt Ongley scored a 39 for Shepaug, Gunnar Ough a 46, Miles Arneson a 55, and Tagan Sivick a 56. For Housatonic, Daniel Moran scored a 49, Jonas Johnson a 50, Wiley Fails a 55, and Ava Humes a 58.

Girls Volleyball Results

Maloney defeated Enfield 3-1. Greta Koscuk recorded 16 kills, 8 aces, and 13 digs. Jenna Feitel had 14 kills, 4 aces, and 12 digs. Alyssa Cox contributed 11 kills, and Tessa Holmes added 25 assists and 3 aces. Deedee Highsmith made 19 digs. Maloney improved to 4-0, while Enfield dropped to 0-3.

Glastonbury defeated Bristol Central 3-0. Leah Mosca made 14 digs, and Joanna Ha had 10 kills with a .346 hitting percentage. Reese Henderson recorded 16 kills with a .344 hitting percentage and seven digs. Mckenna Reynolds had 8 kills with a .438 hitting percentage and 34 assists.

Guilford defeated Branford 3-1. Maya Thompson had 10 kills, 4 digs, and 2 blocks. Nora Stewart added 9 kills, 4 digs, and 1 ace. Katherine Eaton had 10 kills, 5 digs, and 2 aces. Julie Ferguson contributed 29 assists. Guilford improved to 4-0, and the team recorded 17 aces.

Shelton defeated Hamden 3-1. Bella Green had 13 kills and 4 aces, while Sophia McDonald had 2 kills and 3 blocks. Shelton improved to 3-2, and Hamden remained at 3-1.

Academy of International Studies defeated Classical Magnet 3-0. Lisa Weinberg had 11 assists and 15 aces, and Angie Zualaga-Gonzalez had 22 digs. AIS improved to 2-0, and Classical Magnet dropped to 0-4.

Wolcott Tech defeated Abbott Tech 3-2. Aly Beach had 13 kills and 3 aces, and Madelyn Doherty had 16 assists. Wolcott Tech improved to 2-2, and Abbott Tech dropped to 0-4.
