High School Highlights: Game Scores, Recaps, and Friday's Schedule

Field Hockey – Division II

Cumberland emerged victorious with a score of 4 to 3 in overtime against Lincoln School. Molly Enestvedt was instrumental, scoring all four goals for her team, including the decisive goal at the 3:33 mark of overtime. Michaela Davis made 11 saves in net to secure the win for the Clippers. On the opposing side, Annie Lenihan, Arianna Casey, and Amelia Spivey each found the back of the net for the Lynx.

Cranston Co-op secured a 2-0 victory over Smithfield. Goals were scored by Abby Theul and Ashley Budano, leading the Thunderbirds to a shutout of the Sentinels.

South Kingstown defeated Pilgrim with a final score of 4-0. Elise Champagne scored two goals, while Kadie Navolan and Marah Nelson each added one. Chloe Roebuck contributed three assists, and Harper Rodman made two saves to keep the clean sheet for the Rebels.

Boys Soccer – Division II

Lincoln and Mount Hope played to a 0-0 draw. The match was a defensive battle, with Lincoln's Thomas Whitford making four saves and Aaron Kantor making five. Mount Hope's Cole Tavares made eight saves in the effort to prevent any goals from being scored.

Girls Soccer – Division I

South Kingstown won 3-0 against Pilgrim. Bella DiGioia, Grace Palmieri, and Addison Strom scored the goals for the Rebels. Emilia Guertin and Hailey Rollins provided assists, and Abbie O'Rourke kept a clean sheet in goal.

Girls Soccer – Division III

Bay View defeated Rogers with a final score of 4-0. Mia Forbes, Zion Clarke-Heath, Abby Figueiredo, and Megan Gherardini each scored a goal. The Bengals' defense was strong, with only one save needed between their two goalkeepers, Gherardini and Clarke-Heath.

Narragansett beat Providence Country Day 2-0. Teagan Freidt and Maeve Johnson scored the goals, with Samantha Flynn providing an assist. Abby Zelenak made six saves for Narragansett, while Iris Markunas made nine saves for PCD in the loss.

Girls Tennis – Division I/II

East Providence dominated Chariho with a final score of 6-1. In singles matches, Abigail Ellison, Olivia Madeira, Sydney Olson, and Megan Pita all secured victories. In doubles, Isabella Periquito and Rylee Thurber, Liana Soares and Chloe Sullo, and Maura Roche and Emily Bairos also took wins.

Girls Tennis – Division II

Prout swept Westerly with a final score of 7-0. Olivia Siravo, Reese Campbell, Olivia Lemay, and Caitlin O'Hara won their respective singles matches. Doubles teams Cecelia Barnes and Caitlyn Tadamala, Sierra Redfern and Harper Redfern, and Abby Cichon and Cathryn Cavanagh also secured victories. With this win, Prout finishes the regular season undefeated at 15-0.

Girls Tennis – Division III

Providence Country Day/St. Raphael defeated Coventry with a final score of 4-2. Claire Xie, Isla Blecker, and Juliana Pinto won their singles matches, while Mays Miller and Ella Taylor, Angelina Tarnish and Hailey Donehower, and Lana Dufour and Sydney DiSaia took the doubles matches.

Girls Volleyball – Division I

Chariho came back from two sets down to defeat Cranston West 3-2. Kaitlin Smallridge led with 9 aces and 5 digs, while Lilly Baxter had 8 kills and 7 blocks. Olivia Lowell recorded 27 assists, 3 aces, and 8 digs, and Abby Tiernan had 14 kills. For Cranston West, Sarah Crowley had 12 kills and 6 blocks, and Tori Bramble had 9 kills and 11 digs.

Portsmouth defeated Cranston East 3-0. Kamryn Lehner led with 4 kills and 1 dig, Jyoti Ramdass had 3 digs and 2 kills, and Addie Rowe had 1 kill and 1 dig. North Kingstown defeated East Providence 3-0. Kayleigh Garrepy had 11 kills, 2 blocks, 7 digs, and 4 aces. Ellie Finnan had 7 kills and 1 block, Lucy Steppen had 8 kills, and Maggie Scott had 7 kills.

La Salle defeated Prout 3-0. Mackenzie Bradley had 17 assists, Sofia D’Agostino had 9 digs, Maisy Naff had 7 kills, and Sofia Benevides had 6 kills. For Prout, Gabby Andrade had 15 digs, and Ana Pearce had 9 blocks.

Classical defeated East Greenwich 3-0. Amaya Womack had 13 kills, 3 digs, and 2 blocks, Monoluwa Adeniyi had 9 aces and 3 digs, and Tamara Tarlue had 9 kills. For East Greenwich, Sarah Nula had 7 kills and an ace, and Addison Fain had 6 kills, 2 digs, and a block.

Girls Volleyball – Division II

West Warwick defeated Pilgrim 3-0. Grace Gallo had 6 kills, 5 aces, and 10 digs, and Jazlynn Kue had 4 aces. For Pilgrim, Amelia Holmes had 4 blocks and 6 kills.

Barrington defeated Middletown 3-0. Claudia Leonard had 6 kills and 10 aces, and Jules Giguere had 7 kills and 2 blocks. Daysha Gotay had 8 digs, and Mariany Souza had 3 blocks for Middletown.

Lincoln defeated Burrillville 3-1.

Girls Volleyball – Division III

Tolman defeated Block Island 3-0. Marian Gonzalez had 5 digs, 2 assists, and 6 aces, Gabriela Alvarez had 2 digs, 9 assists, 1 ace, and 3 kills, and Elizabeth Akyereko had 3 blocks, 1 ace, and 7 kills. For Block Island, Kiley Ryan had 8 digs, 6 kills, and an ace, and Abigail Willi had 2 blocks, 4 kills, and 2 aces.

St. Raphael defeated Rogers 3-0. Nicole Baker had 8 kills and 8 aces, and Leah Ahmed had 5 kills and 5 aces. Adrianna McPhail had 15 digs, and Agnes Cute had 11 assists. For Rogers, Sosi Lui had 5 aces, 4 kills, and 1 dig, Riley Ahern had 2 aces, 4 kills, and 2 digs, and Alana Finn had 2 aces, 12 assists, and 4 digs.
