Fugitive Jacob Mieger Captured in Shasta County

Law enforcement was dispatched to Conant Road in northern Shasta County following reports of the alleged presence of fugitive Jacob Mieger shortly after noon on Friday, as stated by the Shasta County Sheriff's Office (SCSO).

At 3:25 PM, the department reported that they had successfully found and apprehended Mieger.

The SCSO declared on April 15 that they were actively searching for Mieger He was often seen around the Lakehead region. Officials cautioned people not to get close to Mieger if they encountered him, since he was believed to be carrying weapons.
