As Kelly Clarkson's talk show role continues to prove lucrative for her, despite some recent absences , other television hosts are nervous about their own careers.

Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Bush Hager, popular hosts on Today, stepped into more starring roles after Hoda Kotb left the program. in January. Around the same time, ratings for the show seemed to fall about 4 percent. NBC executives are reportedly wary about the change in viewership, looking to find a way to remedy the problem .

According to RadarOnline , the might include a staffing switch up. An insider said, "Savannah and Jenna were given keys to the kingdom. But they aren't moving the needle, and you can be sure the network isn't going to sit idly by."

They’re apparently searching for a fresh approach that might involve Kelly leading the well-loved show following the tremendous success of her own program, "The Kelly Clarkson Show." Nonetheless, they recognize that this successful series has experienced a decline in viewership as well.

NBC's been making major shakeups lately, hoping to fix their rocky ratings. Lester Holt stepped down from the NBC Nightly News anchor gig, though, it wasn't immediately blamed on the NBC higher-ups.
