'I'm a Reincarnated King': Book Claims Musk Believes He's the Resurrected Spirit of an Ancient Ruler
When Elon Musk was an entrepreneurial young adult promoting his initial business venture, he allegedly told a prospective backer that He was destined for success in his business endeavors. since he was the rebirth of one of humanity's most formidable fighters, as claimed in a recent publication.
The Washington Post journalist Faiz Siddiqui detailed the conversation between Musk and venture capitalist Derek Proudian in his book "Hubris Maximus," which was released this week.
It is claimed that Musk informed the investor that his startup, Zip2, which aimed to digitize the Yellow Pages, would become "the largest company in history."

When Proudian attempted to shift the topic, Musk responded, "No—you don't get it. I am the embodiment of Alexander the Great's spirit," according to the book.

Proudian, who "dismissed Musk's comments" back in the 1990s, is currently feeling concerned. after seeing what Musk has become , The Daily Beast reported .
I'm genuinely worried because I am aware of how intelligent this person is. "I am aware of his financial resources and the extent of his ruthlessness, and I can see this unfolding right before me," Proudian stated.
Another instance highlighting Musk's "arrogance" was shared by a previous Tesla investor with Siddiqui, stating, "Musk can’t tolerate receiving directives—even from the Securities and Exchange Commission.” The same source further noted, “Essentially, he holds all forms of authority in contempt altogether."
A previous Tesla software engineer is cited as stating, " We witnessed irrefutable evidence of his real character. Regarding topics such as racial justice during the George Floyd protests, I’m not sure whether he chooses not to empathize or if he believes he’s simply too occupied to do so.
The Daily Beast piece mentioned that Siddiqui has extensively reported on Musk’s behavior at Tesla and Twitter for the Post. When seeking comments, Musk frequently responded with, “Send my best wishes to your boss.” in reference to his fellow multibillionaire Jeff Bezos .
