Police Hunt for Missing Teen in Statesville

A search is ongoing for a Statesville teen who hasn't been seen in about a week.

The Statesville Police Department shared Friday that it was looking for 14-year-old Tisheema Ivyonna Wright. She is abut 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 125 pounds. She has black hair styled in dreads and brown eyes.

Wright was last seen on April 18. At the time, she was wearing a black zip-up jacket with gold writing on it along with grey sweatpants.
