Hendrickson-Smith, known for his notable career in the music industry as a saxophonist with The Roots, the official band of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (and a recipient of five Grammy Awards), stated that they must close the venue because of uncontrollable circumstances. He expressed disappointment, writing, “Jenny and I did not foresee this outcome.” He went on to say, “Our vision was to create a place that could endure indefinitely—an escape where people can enjoy music, cuisine, and camaraderie."
However, this is how things have turned out.
He mentioned that they both "fully embraced the role of Uncle Cheef for two years (or three if you include the setup period)."
It was an extended period of intense struggle with little sleep. We battled for music, for cultural richness, and for excellence. We feel immense pride in our achievements." He concluded his message by expressing gratitude for allowing him to express himself freely. He also urged his audience to visit the place before it closed down, encouraging them saying, "Stop by and experience it yourself.
We'd be delighted to see those smiles of yours even more often (maybe twice or thrice).
This marks the second dining location owned by Brewster to shut down within the year. Clock Tower Grill Another family-run establishment, shut down on February 22rd after operating successfully for 12 years within the community.
The farm-to-table eatery, boasting the slogan "support local," relied on a neighboring farm to provide for and enrich the dining establishment.
