One of the most anticipated changes is the retheming of the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. Originally featuring Aerosmith, this high-speed coaster will now be transformed into a Muppet-themed attraction. The coaster will maintain its track layout, but guests can expect to see Muppet characters and the Electric Mayhem playing classic hits as they zoom through three inversions. Another exciting addition is Zootopia: Better Zoogether, which is set to debut on November 7, 2025. Inside, visitors can enjoy a playground inspired by Mary Blair’s concept art, character meet-and-greets, and opportunities to draw their own versions of Disney characters.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is also getting a refresh in 2026. This classic Magic Kingdom attraction will feature a new Rainbow Caverns scene with colorful phosphorescent pools and stalagmites. The addition of this new scene adds an extra layer of excitement to the already popular coaster.

Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run is set to return in May 2026 with new locations and missions. Riders can choose from Bespin, Coruscant, or the wreckage of the second Death Star around Endor. Additionally, the engineer position will now allow interaction with Grogu, adding a new dimension to the ride.

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is also undergoing a refurbishment, including new ride vehicles and blasters. This attraction, which has no height requirement, will offer updated ride vehicles with video monitors and interactive handheld blasters for a more engaging experience.
