What to Know Before the Oklahoma State Fair Starts

The Oklahoma State Fair is set to return for its annual celebration, offering a vibrant mix of food, entertainment, and family-friendly activities at the OKC Fairgrounds. With an exciting lineup of events, concerts, and new attractions, this year’s fair promises to be one of the most memorable yet.

Dates, Hours, and Admission

The 2025 Oklahoma State Fair will run from September 11 to September 21 at the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds. The event showcases Oklahoma's agriculture, manufacturing, and commerce while providing educational exhibits, competitions, and fun for all ages.

Buildings at the fairgrounds will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays, and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Outside vendors will be open from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays, and from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The carnival opens at noon on Monday, 1 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

During the fair, adult tickets increase to $16, children (ages 6–11) pay $10, and children under 5 enter for free.

The Little Book of BIG DEAL$

This official coupon book features over 50 coupons and more than $250 in savings on fair food, fun, and shopping. It can be purchased at outside ticket booths, the OKC Fair Park Box Office, InFAIRmation booths, and the Made in Oklahoma Store (located in the Bennett Event Center).

Youth Attendance Policy

Fairgoers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or chaperone aged 25 or older after 5 p.m. Eligible adults may accompany up to five minors, and adults must remain at the fair while minors attend. Exceptions apply for officially recognized tour groups or youth in competitions with established supervisory practices.

Parking Options

There are several parking options available, including free and paid lots surrounding the OKC Fairgrounds. Paid parking is $15 per vehicle per day, with no come-and-go access. Free parking is available at Gates 1, 3, and 6. ADA parking is accessible at most gates, and all transactions are cashless, requiring credit or debit cards.
