(12) Pacific Mission drew an outside post, but at a mile, it might not be a disadvantage. She has a lot to like in her second start vs. winners. (13) Precise stands out on form and figures, but her ability to avoid breaking out from the far outside post is uncertain.

It's hard to look past (8) Ted Noffey and (7) Brant, but (2) Blackout Time could split them in the tri. Fallica suggests trying to get prices in P3s/4s/5s in other legs around the two faves here.

Juvenile Turf

(14) Gstaad continues the trend of big favorites drawing outside. Fallica will use him as a tri key underneath. (7) Gordon Pass could be a Walden bomb here, as he has a knack for getting horses to outrun their odds.

Saturday's Racing Insights

Filly and Mare Sprint

Kopion deciding not to go here was interesting, but (4) Tamara is a strong contender. Another intriguing horse is (9) Richi, who could fall into a nice trip here on the cutback.

Turf Sprint

If this race were at Saratoga, (5) Bring Theband Home would be a lock. (1) Motorious seems too short a price, and (8) AG Bullet seems like the most likely winner. (3) Arizona Blaze is another one to consider.

Sprint

Kopion going here was a surprise, and she likely lost all chances at the post draw. (12) Straight No Chaser is a defending champ, but his performance might vary this year. (10) Bentornato ran too well last year to lose, and (2) Banishing and (3) Lovesick Blues are also worth considering.

Distaff

(8) Seismic Beauty is a long shot at a very short price. (1) Nitrogen has a good record, but there are double-digit runners to consider, including (2) Sarawak Rim and (3) Clicquot.

Turf

(1) Rebel’s Romance is a favorite, and (8) Minnie Hauk is another strong contender. (3) Amiloc could be a nice price to throw in your exactas and trifectas.

Classic

The scratch of Sovereignty is a bummer, but (1) Fierceness is a strong favorite. (5) Forever Young and (7) Sierra Leone are also worth considering.

Mile

(2) Notable Speech wins with a clean trip, and (10) Jonquil could be an upsetter. CA-based horses are worth watching, but Notable Speech is the one to beat.

Dirt Mile

(3) Nysos and (6) Full Serrano are strong contenders, especially if they can get an easy lead.

Filly and Mare Turf

(13) She Feels Pretty and (14) See The Fire have tough draws, but (5) Gezora is a solid bet. (6) Diamond Rain and (9) Cinderella’s Dream are also worth considering.
