CCRES is actively seeking professional staff to support children and adults facing challenges related to autism, mental illness, intellectual or developmental disabilities, and physical disabilities. These professionals work in various settings, including schools, homes, and the community, providing essential care and assistance.

Since 1999, CCRES has partnered with the Chester County Intermediate Unit to address the growing need for behavioral health services for children in Chester County. This collaboration not only meets critical needs but also reflects CCRES's commitment to giving back to the local community. Based in Downingtown, CCRES provides trained professionals who work closely with school districts, intermediate units, and the broader behavioral health system.

Available Professional Staff Positions

CCRES currently has several open positions for qualified individuals interested in making a meaningful impact in the lives of those they serve. Below are some of the key roles available:

Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will have the opportunity to make a daily difference by supporting children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders in a school setting. This role involves one-to-one and small-group emotional support, as well as behavioral interventions based on the client’s medical needs.

Key Responsibilities: - Provide one-to-one and small-group emotional support and behavioral interventions. - Prompt interventions in areas such as behavior management, conflict resolution, and peer interaction skills. - Collect daily data and document progress notes. - Support students with personal care needs.

Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalency. - Experience working with school-aged children is preferred. - Experience with autism and other special needs is preferred. - For staff assigned to West Chester Area School District, a high school diploma and ability to complete a local assessment requirement, or two years of post-secondary education (48 college credits).

Credentialing Requirements: - PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance - PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance - PA Department of Education FBI – Use code 1KG6XN - TB Screening - Education Documentation – Diploma or Official Transcripts

This position offers a starting rate of $22 per hour, increasing to $25.50 per hour. It is ideal for those starting their careers, parents looking to work in the same district as their children, or individuals seeking a career change.

Behavior Consultant

The Behavior Consultant (BC-ABA) is an independent contract position that involves working within an interdisciplinary clinical team in Montgomery County. This role allows for flexible scheduling, including school hours, after-school, and evening shifts, depending on program needs.

Key Responsibilities: - Write and monitor individual treatment plans for children with behavioral and mental health disorders. - Assist in developing adaptive skills for the child in school, home, and community settings. - Provide behavioral consultation to families and schools. - Train Behavior Health Technicians (BHTs) on therapeutic interventions. - Write Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs).

Qualifications: - Master’s Degree in applied behavior analysis (ABA) or a related field. - PA License in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, or similar. - At least 12 credits in ABA and one year of full-time experience in ABA under supervision. - PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance - PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance - FBI Department of Human Service background clearance – Service code: 1KG738 - TB screening (current within three months) - Professional Liability Insurance

The hourly rate for this position is $60.

Behavior Analyst

The Behavior Analyst / BCBA is an independent contract position working within an interdisciplinary clinical team in Chester County. This role comes with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for those hired for a minimum of 25 billable hours.

Key Responsibilities: - Write and monitor individual treatment plans for children with behavioral and mental health disorders. - Assist in developing adaptive skills for the child in various settings. - Provide prescribed behavioral consultation to families and schools. - Train Behavior Health Technicians (BHTs) on therapeutic interventions. - Write Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs).

Qualifications: - PA Behavior Specialist License - BCBA (active) - PA Behavior Specialist License (active) - PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance - PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance - FBI Department of Human Service background clearance - TB screening (current within three months) - Professional Liability Insurance

The hourly rate for this position is $85.
