Chicago has witnessed a series of shootings over the weekend, resulting in at least two fatalities and 23 injuries. The victims range in age from 17 to 74 years old, according to police reports.
Shootings on Friday
On Friday, the first incident occurred just before 10:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of East 67th Street. An 18-year-old man was outside when he heard shots and felt pain. He suffered a gunshot wound to the right wrist and was taken to the University of Chicago Hospital in good condition. No further details were immediately available.
Shootings on Saturday
The following day saw several incidents:

At 2:26 a.m. in the 2500 block of South Trumbull Avenue, a 23-year-old woman was inside a vehicle when she heard shots and felt pain. She sustained a graze wound to the head and was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in fair condition.

At 4 a.m. in the 2100 block of South Harding Avenue, three men—two 19-year-olds and a 28-year-old—were outside a gathering when an argument turned into a fight. A suspect pulled out a gun and opened fire, injuring all three. They were taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in good condition. The suspect fled the scene.

At 8:20 a.m. in the 13200 block of South Corliss Avenue, a 26-year-old woman was in the passenger seat of a vehicle when she was shot in the lower back. She self-transported to Roseland Hospital in good condition.

At 2 p.m. in the 3400 block of West Fulton Boulevard, a 17-year-old boy was struck in the hand by unknown gunfire and self-transported to Stroger Hospital in good condition.

At 6:52 p.m. in the 3900 block of West Grenshaw Street, a 31-year-old man was shot in the thigh and taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in good condition.

At 9 p.m., a man was shot in the arm while walking outside in the 5200 block of North Oakley Avenue. He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition but could not provide further details.
Shootings on Sunday
Sunday brought more violence:

At 1:30 a.m., a 21-year-old man was shot during a fight in the 6500 block of South Green Street. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.

At 1:45 a.m., four people were shot in the 3400 block of North Clark Street. Three victims were taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, while a 25-year-old man was taken to Thorek Hospital. All were reported in fair condition.

At 1:58 a.m., two 19-year-old men were shot in the leg and abdomen, respectively, and taken to St. Anthony Hospital in good condition.

At 4:24 p.m., a 64-year-old man was found unresponsive with a single gunshot wound to his chest. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead.

At 5:30 p.m., a 29-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were grazed in the head during an attack near the 8400 block of South Buffalo Avenue. Both were taken to South Shore Hospital in good condition.

At 7:05 p.m., a 17-year-old boy was shot in the head while inside a Burger King. He was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition and later died.

At 10:03 p.m., a 41-year-old man was shot in the shoulder and abdomen during a fight in the 2000 block of West 69th Street. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in serious condition.
Shootings on Monday
On Monday, at 2:25 a.m., a 28-year-old woman fired a gun during a quarrel with a 38-year-old man inside her home. The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in fair condition with a gunshot wound to his left arm. A gun was recovered, and charges were pending.
Note that there were two 1 a.m. hours on Sunday morning due to the time change from daylight saving time to Central Standard Time. Police have not specified which hour the shootings occurred in.
